Liverpool V Arsenal

This is a must win game for Arsenal, dropping 3 points last week against Stoke was not the ideal situation going into this fixture. Wenger confirmed during yesterday press conference that Alexis Sanchez looks to be available, I think i speak for most Arsenal fans when i say we desperately need him. I am really looking forward to seeing Sanchez play with Lacazette. Laurent Koscielny will also make his return where he will bring stability back into our backline.

  • Liverpool won both of their Premier League meetings with Arsenal in 2016-17 – they haven’t won three in a row versus the Gunners since May 1998 (four in a row).
  • Games between these two clubs in the Premier League have produced 17 goals in the 90th minute or later; more than any other fixture.
  • These two sides have attempted the most shots on target in the opening two matchdays of the 2017-18 Premier League season – Liverpool (18) & Arsenal (16

Sadio Mane looks to be Liverpool’s key man at the moment, he has had a hand in five goals in his five previous Premier League starts against Arsenal (three goals, two assists). Roberto Firmino is also a danger for the Gunners, the Brazilian has scored three goals in four Premier League games against Arsenal.

Predicted XI

Mustafi – Koscielny – Monreal

Oxlade Chamberlain – Xhaka – Ramsey – Kolasinac

Sanchez – Lacazette – Ozil

Prediction 2-2

Im hoping I’m wrong with my prediction i would love nothing more then a win and 3 points, but i will happily take the 1 point. If we lose this match 3 points from three games is not good enough.
